0 R I 6 I iV A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14068 10/23/00 <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE REGIONAL <br />TRAFFIC SIGNALIZATION /OPERATIONS PROGRAM (RTSOP <br />2) ARTERIAL TRAFFIC SIGNAL INTERCONNECT PROJECT; <br />AND DIRECTING RETURN OF BID SECURITIES IN <br />CONNECTION THEREWITH <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13972, adopted August 14, 2000, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Regional Traffic <br />Signalization /Operations Program (RTSOP 2) Arterial Traffic Signal Interconnect <br />Project in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, three bids were received; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that all bids exceeded the <br />estimated amount for the project; and <br />WHEREAS, as a result thereof, this Council desires to exercise its <br />reserved right to reject all bids and to authorize and direct the City Clerk to return <br />all bid securities furnished by said bidders and in accordance with the <br />Instructions to Bidders for said improvements; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />The bids received in response to advertisement for bids made pursuant <br />to Resolution No. 13972, adopted August 14, 2000, for the Regional Traffic <br />Signalization /Operations Program (RTSOP 2) Arterial Traffic Interconnect <br />Project is, and each of them are, hereby rejected; the City Clerk is hereby <br />Reso-1006 1 <br />DES:djk <br />F:Shared/Redwood /Council <br />10/02/00 <br />
