<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />SEWER RATE STUDY <br /> <br />W~I;;GREEMENT. made and entered into this ;;<;:?...¡ day of <br /> <br /> <br />~, U ,1999, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br /> <br />municipal ( .. corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and HILTON, <br /> <br />FARNKOPF & HOBSON, LLC of Fremont, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires the preparation of a sewer rate study for the <br /> <br />Redwood City Sanitary Sewer Enterprise and Storm Water Management <br /> <br />Program in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br /> <br />is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall develop and prepare a <br /> <br />sewer rate study, develop a 1 a-year Business Plan and merge the Stormwater <br /> <br />Enterprise Fund into the Sewer Enterprise Fund as well as other related services <br /> <br />described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference <br /> <br />incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br /> <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in an amount <br /> <br />based upon Consultant's rates that are prevailing during the time of the <br /> <br />performance of said services.
