DES : df4- 8/31/92 (056/30) <br /> O R I G I N A L 9/14/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11836 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF <br /> APPLICATION TO BAY AREA AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT <br /> FOR ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR TRANSPORTATION CONTROL <br /> PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to the provisions of Health and Safety <br /> Code Sections 44223 and 44225 , the Bay Area Air Quality <br /> Management District ("BAAQMD") levies a fee on motor vehicles <br /> registered within the District , the revenues from which shall be <br /> allocated by the BAAQMD pursuant to Health and Safety Code <br /> Section 44241 for the implementation of transportation control <br /> projects and programs ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the City of Redwood City proposes to implement a <br /> transportation control project and program consisting of local <br /> feeder bus or shuttle service to rail stations and implementation <br /> of rail-bus integration (the "Project") ; and <br /> WHEREAS , this Council desires to approve an application to <br /> the BAAQMD for an allocation of funds for the Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . That certain application to the BAAQMD for an <br /> allocation of funds pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section <br /> 44241 entitled, "AB 434 Funding Application" , for implementation <br /> of the above-described Project a copy of which application is on <br /> file in the office of the City Manager, to which copy reference <br /> is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br />
