DES: dft -8/19/92 (044/31) <br /> O R I G I N A L 8/31/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N 0. 11831 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING URBAN WATER <br /> MANAGEMENT PLAN UPDATE - 1992 ; AND AUTHORIZING AND <br /> DIRECTING FILING THEREOF WITH THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF <br /> WATER RESOURCES <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Resolution No. 10197 , adopted May 5 , 1986 , <br /> this Council adopted the Redwood City Urban Water Management Plan <br /> pursuant to the provisions of the Urban Water Management Planning <br /> Act (Water Res . Code §§10610 et seq. ; the "Act") ; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the Act , the Department of Community <br /> Development has reviewed the aforesaid plan (adopted in 1986) and <br /> proposes revisions and amendments thereto, as set forth in that <br /> certain document entitled, "Urban Water Management Plan Update - <br /> 1992" (the "Plan Update") ; and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to the provisions of Water Code Section <br /> 10642 , the Plan Update has been made available for public inspection <br /> and a duly noticed public hearing on the adoption thereof was held <br /> on August 31 , 1992 , at which time all persons present and desiring <br /> to be heard on the matter were given an opportunity to be heard; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . The Plan Update is hereby approved and adopted. <br /> 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> implement the Plan Update in accordance with the schedule set forth <br /> therein. <br /> 3 . The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file a <br /> copy of the Plan Update, together with a certified copy of this <br />
