10/16/00 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14054 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR UNDERGROUNDING EXISTING <br />OVERHEAD FACILITIES (PG &E, PAC BELL, CABLE TV) <br />CONSTRUCTION AT 890 BROADWAY; APPROVING AND <br />ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT THEREOF; AND AUTHORIZING ASSIGNMENT <br />THEREOF <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Undergrounding <br />Existing Overhead Facilities (PG &E, PacBell, Cable TV) Construction at 890 <br />Broadway" (form dated 09/28/OOR), by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California ( "City "), and 890 Broadway <br />Associates, L.L.C., a California limited liability company, as the owner of record <br />( "Owner") of said real property located at 890 Broadway, Redwood City, <br />California, a copy of which Agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved, and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute, and to attest thereto, respectively, said Agreement for and <br />on behalf of the City of Redwood City, subject to the following conditions: <br />(a) Before the commencement of any construction of the Improvements <br />defined and specified in the Agreement, Owner shall furnish to City and file with <br />the City Clerk, a cash deposit securing the faithful performance which includes <br />labor and materials of all work and construction of all improvements designated <br />Reso -994 1 <br />F:\sh a red \Redwood \Council <br />FXS:djk <br />09/15/00 <br />09/28/OOR <br />
