DES:djk 08/05/92 (096/32) <br /> O R I G I N A L 8/17/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11818 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH GREAT WESTERN BANK FOR ADMINISTRATION OF <br /> A DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11093 , adopted June 24 , <br /> 1989 , this Council established a Deferred Compensation Plan for <br /> employees of the City of Redwood City with Great Western Bank; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, said agreement between the City of Redwood City and <br /> Great Western Bank has expired on June 30 , 1992; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> enter into a new agreement with Great Western Bank for the <br /> management of a Deferred Compensation Plan for employees of the <br /> City of Redwood City; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Deferred Compensation Plan <br /> Agreement" , by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br /> corporation of the State of California and Great Western Bank, a <br /> Federal Savings Bank, a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> Office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> for the full particulars thereof is hereby approved, and the City <br /> Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute, and to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for <br /> and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />
