DES:djle 07/27/92 (091/32) <br /> O R I G I N A L 8/17/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11815 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br /> ONE (1) BACKHOE/LOADER UNDER THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASE <br /> PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO BID #00029032 <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2 . 80 the City <br /> of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br /> Section 54201 of the California Government Code to purchase <br /> materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> WHEREAS , the City of Palo Alto, Bid #00029032 includes a <br /> Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies <br /> the opportunity to purchase equipment from Case Power & Equipment <br /> Company; and <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the City of Palo Alto conforms <br /> to the requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2 . 80 ; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> purchase one (1) Backhoe/Loader from Case Power & Equipment <br /> Company pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase Provision of the <br /> City of Palo Alto Bid #00029032; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1 . The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br /> of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of one (1) <br /> Backhoe/Loader from Case Power & Equipment Company for a total <br /> cost of Forty Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty-six and No/100 <br /> Dollars ($40 ,826 . 00) pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase <br />
