DES:djk 08/03/92 (093/32) <br /> O R I G I N A L 8/17/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11812 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR GEOTECHNICAL OBSERVATION AND TESTING <br /> SERVICES RELATING TO CITY CENTER PARKING STRUCTURE <br /> (TEJIMA AND ASSOCIATES, INC. ) <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City proposes to construct a <br /> parking structure located on Marshall Street in the City of <br /> Redwood City, California (the "Project") ; and <br /> WHEREAS , in connection with the Project, the City requires <br /> professional consulting services for geotechnical observation and <br /> testing and related activities; and <br /> WHEREAS, Tejima and Associates, Inc. , of Redwood City, <br /> California represents that it is qualified on the basis of <br /> experience and expertise to perform the aforesaid services <br /> required for the Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Geotechnical <br /> Observation and Testing Services - City Center Parking Structure" <br /> (form dated 08/03/92) , by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br /> municipal corporation of the State of California and Tejima and <br /> Associates, Inc. , for the performance of the above-mentioned <br /> services, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br /> the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the <br /> full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the City Manager <br /> and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and <br /> to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf <br /> of the City of Redwood City. <br />
