MARIM <br />- 0 RIGINAL — <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14047 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING <br />SERVICES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS FOR THE <br />REDWOOD SHORES BAYFRONT SPECIFIC PLAN <br />(CH2MHILL) <br />WHEREAS, City requires an environmental analysis in order to <br />understand the potential significance of environmental impact associated with <br />development under the Redwood Shores Bay Front Specific Plan (the "Project "); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of an <br />environmental analysis is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br />Quality Act ( "CEQA "; Pub. Res. Code §2100 et seq.), the State Guidelines <br />implementive thereof ( "State CEQA Guidelines'; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and <br />the City's Regulations implementive thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City's Regulations, the City of Redwood City has <br />determined that an initial Study is required and that further environmental review <br />and preparation of a Negative Declaration or Environmental Impact Report may <br />be required (the "Environmental Review "); and <br />WHEREAS, the South Bayside System Authority has agreed to pay for <br />the Initial Study and the Environmental Review; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires professional environmental <br />analysis services; and <br />Reso -992 1 <br />F: \sh\sh \redwood \council <br />FXS:rg <br />09/07/00 <br />
