.~ .~. ~'l Ö t REDWOOD CITY PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING OF ,AUGUST 13, 1975 The regular business meeting of the Parks & Recreation Commission was called to order by Chairman Knecht at 7:36 PM in Conference Room Number 1 at the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City- MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Knecht, Pound, Rollins (arrived at 9:10 PM), Schlesinger, Weintraub, Wilson MEMBERS ABSENT: Commissioner Aldrich (excused) STAFF PRESENT: Director Max Weeks Superintendent Bill Paulson Admini'stra tive Assistant Tom Ferrando Supervisor Sally Hartman Secretary Cheryl Pellicano AUDIENCE: Jack Stuart, 3827 Chatham Court, Redwood City Sidney Herkner, 55 Turnsworth Avenue, Redwood City John Rosselli, 950 Nob Hill Road, Redwood City Robert Spillers, 720 Madison, Redwood City Hugh Green, 1970 Redwood Avenue, Redwood City Ben Goldsmith, 2323 Broadway, Redwood City Ben Moritz, 136 Circle Road, Redwood City MOTION: Commissioner Weintraub moved, seconded by Commissioner Schlesinger, that the minutes of the regular business meeting of July 9,1975 and the Adjourned Meeting of July 23,1975 be accepted with the following corrections: JULY 9 MEETING: Commissioner Wilson requested tha t the word II excused" be added after his indicated absences from the Committee meetings. Page 6, add: "Mrs, Ron Anderson, citizen, appointed to the Committee." JULY 23 ADJOURNED MEETING Page 4, last paragraph, second sentence: remove the second word "addition" which is between the words "include" and "additional" and add the work "adjacent" after the word "additional" and before the word "property." Page 5, item 2, should read: '. To allocate funds (approximately " $1 0 , 000 .,. . ") ins tead of $1 0 , 00 . Page 5, item 2, second line should read "architectural feasibility studies..." Delete the word "and" between architectural and feasibility. The motion carried unanimously by voice vote.
