<br />DES:djy 10/24/97 <br /> <br />(021/60) <br /> <br />A G R E E MEN T <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />--------- <br /> <br />PROPERTY TAX ASSESSMENT SERVICES FOR <br />GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64 (REDWOOD SHORES) <br /> <br /> <br />AGREEMENT, made and entered into this If{ ~ day of <br />U"J <br />, 19~, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California, <br /> <br />("City") and <br /> <br />CHARLES B. WARREN, ASA ("Consultant"); <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H : <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires the performance of certain property <br /> <br />tax <br /> <br />assessment <br /> <br />services <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />General <br /> <br />Improvement <br /> <br />District No. <br /> <br />1-64 including, but not limited to, <br /> <br />real property <br /> <br />appraisal services (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Consultant <br /> <br />represents <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />qualified <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />furnish such services in accordance with the terms and conditions <br /> <br />hereinafter set forth; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. <br /> <br />Consultant shall furnish all of <br /> <br />those certain services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, entitled <br /> <br />"Schedule A: Redwood Shores, Scope of Work", dated August 1, 1997 <br /> <br />for fiscal year July 1, 1997 - June 30, 1998, attached hereto and <br /> <br />by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />COMPENSATION. <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />compensate <br /> <br />Consultant <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />services provided hereunder in accordance with Consultant's Fee <br /> <br />Schedule B: Redwood Shores, Budget, dated August 1, 1997, which <br /> <br />fee schedule is marked Exhibit "B" hereof, attached hereto and by <br /> <br />this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />Notwithstanding <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />foregoing, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />total <br /> <br />compensation <br /> <br />payable hereunder shall not exceed Forty-six Thousand Two Hundred <br />
