9/11/00 <br />0 R I 0; I ti A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 140_31 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR ADULT DAY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR <br />REDWOOD CITY SENIORS <br />(PENINSULA VOLUNTEERS, INC.) <br />WHEREAS, Peninsula Volunteers, Inc., (Contractor) conducts an adult day <br />support services for seniors of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twelve Thousand Two Hundred and no /100 Dollars <br />($12,200.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing <br />purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />
