9/11/00 <br />0 R I G I 11 A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1 amH <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR HOMESHARING HELP AND <br />INFORMATION PROGRAM <br />(HUMAN INVESTMENT PROJECT) <br />WHEREAS, The Human Investment Project (Contractor) conducts a <br />homesharing help and information program for residents of the City of Redwood City <br />(the Program); and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Fifteen Thousand and no /100 Dollars ($15,000.00) <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Homesharing Help and <br />Information," (form dated 8/15/00), by and between the City of Redwood City and the <br />
