8/28/00 <br />0 R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14013 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH THE SAN MATEO COUNTY LIBRARY <br />JOINT POWERS AUTHORITY FOR THE PAYMENT OF <br />OPERATING COSTS OF SHARED FACILITIES <br />(FAIR OAKS BRANCH LIBRARY) <br />WHEREAS, The City of Redwood City and the County of San Mateo <br />entered into an agreement entitled "Common Use /Shared Facility License <br />Agreement," on June 6, 1995, for the remodeling, use, operation and <br />maintenance of the facilities known as the Fair Oaks Branch Library, Redwood <br />City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo ( "County ") has transferred its <br />financial obligation under the Common Use /Shared Facility License Agreement <br />to the San Mateo County Library Joint Powers Authority (the "Authority "); and <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agreement <br />entitled, "Agreement Between City of Redwood City and San Mateo County <br />Library Joint Powers Authority," for review and approval of the County's <br />assignment of its financial obligations to the Authority. <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement Between City of Redwood <br />City and San Mateo County Library Joint Powers Authority," by and between the <br />Reso -966 1 <br />F: /sh /sh /Redwood /Council <br />FXS:rg <br />O8 /02 /OOR <br />
