8/28/00 <br />ORIGINAL <br />(07/10/00) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14 003 <br />Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br />Agreement With Service League of San Mateo County (Emerg. Material Assistance) <br />WHEREAS, Service League of San Mateo County (Emerg. Material Assistance) is a private, non- <br />profit organization that provides programs and resources which promote positive change in individuals and <br />their families involved in the Criminal Justice System, which services are in furtherance of the public <br />health, welfare and benefit; and <br />WHEREAS, Service League of San Mateo County (Emerg. Material Assistance), has requested <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000 <br />and ending June 30, 2001; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Service League of San Mateo County (Emerg. Material Assistance) to provide financial <br />assistance in furtherance of its public purposes; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement (form dated 7/10/00), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br />Service League of San Mateo County (Emerg. Material Assistance) a copy of which agreement is on file in <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf <br />of the City of Redwood City. <br />
