8/28/00 ORIGINAL (07/10/00) RESOLUTION NO. 13997 Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of Agreement With Kainos Homes and Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled WHEREAS, Kainos Homes and Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled is a private, non - profit organization that provides services to adults with developmental disabilities to maximize their potential as active, contributing members of their community, which services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and WHEREAS, Kainos Homes and Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled, has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000 and ending June 30, 2001; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an agreement with Kainos Homes and Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its public purposes; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement (form dated 7/10/00), by and between the City of Redwood City and Kainos Homes and Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City.
