Report of Result of Examination of <br />Signa ture s on Referendum Petit ion on Sou th <br />Shores Development - RESOLUTION NO. 9131 <br />adop ted May 24, 1982 <br /> <br />-_..,-~ -~.,~-~--~---._..~--,~~._~.~-~ ...~._~._~-- <br /> <br />SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY <br /> <br />Report of City Clerk 7/23/82 <br /> <br />Discussion followed and City Clerk Hildebrand <br />and City Attorney Schricker replied to <br />questions regarding costs of conducting a <br />special election; requirements regarding <br />wording of the referendum measure to be <br />placed on the ballot; the fact that a <br />synopsis may be used to describe the measure <br />in the ballot pamphlet; the fac t that the <br />pamphlet will include the synopsis and <br />objective analyses by the City Attorney as <br />well as arguments for and against the measure <br />and rebuttals; the desire of Council to make <br />the measure clear to the voters; and the <br />wording of the petition suggesting signers <br />wished to overrule the Council action taken <br />by adopting RESOLUTION NO. 9131. <br /> <br />M/S: Bury/Mosher that Mayor Stangel and <br />Councilmen Biagi and Britschgi be asked to <br />write the ballot argument for the City <br />Council in opposition to disapproving <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9131. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 82-125 <br /> <br />Reg.
