8/28/00 <br />0RIG INAL <br />(07/10/00) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13987 <br />Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br />Agreement With Casa de Redwood- Better Living for Seniors Program <br />WHEREAS, Casa de Redwood - Better Living for Seniors Program is a private, non - profit <br />organization that provides low income elderly persons with housing facilities and services to meet their <br />physical, social, and psychological needs, which services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare <br />and benefit; and <br />WHEREAS, Casa de Redwood - Better Living for Seniors Program, has requested financial <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000 and <br />ending June 30, 2001; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Casa de Redwood - Better Living for Seniors Program to provide financial assistance in <br />furtherance of its public purposes; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement (form dated 7/10/00), by and between the City of Redwood City and Casa <br />de Redwood - Better Living for Seniors Program a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br />City. <br />
