DES : df' 6/24/92 (031/31) <br /> O R I G I N A L 6/29/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11768 <br /> RESOLUTION CALLING GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION AND <br /> REQUESTING CONSOLIDATION THEREOF WITH STATEWIDE GENERAL <br /> ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 3 , 1992 <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Ordinance No. 2020 entitled, "Ordinance <br /> Requiring General Municipal Elections to Be Held on the Same Day <br /> as Statewide General Election, Commencing in November, 1992 , and <br /> Requesting Approval Thereof By the Board of Supervisors of the <br /> County of San Mateo" , adopted July 9 , 1990 , General Municipal <br /> Elections of the City of Redwood City shall be held in said City <br /> on the same day as the Statewide General Election held in <br /> November of even-numbered years ; and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to said Ordinance No. 2020 , notice has <br /> been mailed to all registered voters in the City of Redwood City <br /> informing said voters of the change in said election date and <br /> also informing said voters that as a result of the change in the <br /> election date the elected City office holders ' terms in office <br /> will be changed; and <br /> WHEREAS , further pursuant to said Ordinance No. 2020 , the <br /> City Clerk transmitted a copy thereof to the Board of Supervisors <br /> of the County of San Mateo for approval thereof, which approval <br /> has been granted; and <br /> WHEREAS , the first General Municipal election to be held in <br /> accordance with said Ordinance No. 2020 occurs on November 3 , <br /> 1992 ; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 11768 <br />
