DES:d',k 06/09/92 (063/32) <br /> O R I G I N A L 6/25/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 11766 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR BROCHURE PRINTING AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS IN <br /> CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> WHEREAS, the City Clerk has caused to be published a public <br /> notice inviting bids for brochure printing in a newspaper of <br /> general circulation within the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said notice, three (3) bids were <br /> received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Independent Publications, Inc . , San Jose, <br /> California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of <br /> Independent Publications, Inc. ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . The bid of Independent Publications, Inc. , for brochure <br /> printing at a total bid price not to exceed Twenty-two Thousand <br /> Three Hundred Ninety-two and No/100 Dollars ($22 ,392 . 00) computed <br /> in accordance with said bidder' s proposal dated May 19 , 1992 , is <br /> hereby accepted; said bidder is hereby found and declared to be <br /> the lowest responsible bidder for said brochure printing. <br /> 2 . The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute all necessary or appropriate purchase documents (in form <br /> approved by the City Attorney) for and on behalf of the City of <br /> Redwood City for the purchase of said brochure printing in <br />
