DES:dik 06/02/92 (056/32) <br /> ORIGINAL 6/8/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11760 <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION AND <br /> INSTALLATION OF THE COMMUNICATIONS CONDUITS FOR POLICE <br /> FACILITY PROJECT, DIRECTING RETURN OF BID SECURITY; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING READVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11731 adopted April 20 , <br /> 1992 , this Council authorized advertisement for bids for the <br /> Communications Conduits project for the proposed Redwood City <br /> Police Facility; and <br /> WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, ten bids were <br /> received; and <br /> WHEREAS, the bids of the apparent lowest bidders were not <br /> responsive for failure to comply with the licensing requirements <br /> specified in the contract documents; and <br /> WHEREAS, as a result thereof, this Council desires to <br /> exercise its reserved right to reject all bids and to direct <br /> readvertisement for the project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> All bids received in response to advertisement for bids made <br /> pursuant to Resolution No. 11731 , adopted April 20 , 1992 , for the <br /> construction and installation of Communications Conduits for the <br /> Police Facility project are, and each of them hereby is , <br /> rejected, the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> return to each bidder the bid security furnished by said bidders <br /> in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders for said <br />
