JAH:d-ci-. 3/4/92 (006/30) <br /> O R I G I N A L 3/9/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11703 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CERTAIN AMENDMENTS OF DDA FOR <br /> SEQUOIA STATION PROJECT, PERTAINING TO COMMITMENTS OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY THEREUNDER <br /> WHEREAS , the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood <br /> City ( "Agency" ) has been requested to approve an assignment of <br /> the Disposition and Development Agreement for the Sequoia Station <br /> Project ( "DDA" ) from Sequoia Station Developers , Inc. <br /> to Safeway Inc . , a Delaware Corporation; and <br /> WHEREAS , in contemplation of such assignment, Safeway Inc. <br /> has requested certain amendments be made to the DDA, which <br /> amendments the Agency and the City have concluded will be of <br /> benefit to the Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, certain of such amendments pertain to commitments <br /> of the City of Redwood City under the DDA and therefore require <br /> approval of the City; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY does resolve as <br /> follows: <br /> 1 . The City Council does hereby approve the amendments of <br /> the DDA as set forth in the document entitled "First Amendment of <br /> Disposition and Development Agreement for the Sequoia Station <br /> Project" , in the form submitted to this Council and on file with <br /> the Secretary of the Agency, with respect to such amendments as <br /> to which the City of Redwood City is a signatory. <br /> 2 . The Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized and directed <br /> to execute and attest, respectively, such First Amendment for and <br /> on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> * * <br />
