(715/91) <br /> O R I G I N A L 1/20/92 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 11683 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH SAN MATEO BATTERED WOMEN'S SERVICES <br /> WHEREAS, San Mateo Battered Women's Services has been established <br /> for the principal purpose of providing shelter and support services to <br /> battered women and their children in San Mateo County; and <br /> WHEREAS, San Mateo Battered Women's Service has requested financial <br /> assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal <br /> year commencing July 1, 1991 and ending June 30, 1992; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> desires to pay to San Mateo Battered Women's Services the sum of <br /> SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE-HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($7,500.00) ; and <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> agreement between the City of Redwood City and San Mateo Battered Women's <br /> Services) and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve <br /> the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br />
