N A L 12/10/90 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 11456 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A SALARY PLAN FOR POSITIONS OF <br />EMPLOYMENT WITH THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY EXEMPT FROM <br />THE MERIT SYSTEM, AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 11220 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The monthly salary rates in dollars are hereby <br /> <br />established for positions exempt from the employment merit system <br /> <br />(competitive service) of the City of Redwood City as set forth in <br /> <br />Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference <br /> <br />incorporated herein, and the hourly and bi-weekly equivalent <br /> <br />rates for such positions as set forth in said Exhibit are <br /> <br />likewise established, in ranges, for the period commencing <br /> <br />October 1, 1990. <br /> <br />2. Persons appointed on a part-time basis to positions in <br /> <br />the employment classifications designated in Exhibit A hereof <br /> <br />shall be compensated on an hourly basis in accordance with the <br /> <br />salary rates set forth in said Exhibit for the respective <br /> <br />positions of employment. <br /> <br />3. This resolution shall be effective on the date of its <br /> <br />adoption; provided, however, that the provisions hereof shall be <br /> <br />operative retroactively from and after October 1, 1990; provided, <br /> <br />further, that compensation for the position of City Clerk <br /> <br />specified herein shall be operative from and after November 15, <br /> <br />1990. <br /> <br />4. Resolution No. 11220 entitled "Resolution Establishing <br /> <br />Salary Plan for Positions of Employment With the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City Exempt From the Merit System", adopted February 5, 1990, is <br /> <br />hereby rescinded. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
