<br />DES: d j k Ll / 14 / 90 ( 040/28 ) <br /> <br />o RIG I N A L <br /> <br />11/19/90 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 11447 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE ROUGH GRADING AND <br />SURFACE IMPROVEMENTS AT THE POLICE FACILITY SITE; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF BID SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11407 adopted by this <br /> <br />Council on October 15, 1990, the City Clerk advertised for bids <br /> <br />for the Rough Grading and Surface Improvements at the Police <br /> <br />Facility Site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement for bids, eighteen <br /> <br />bids were received and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Fisk Firenze Mc Lean, <br /> <br />Inc. , <br /> <br />Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to Fisk <br /> <br />Firenze Mc Lean, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Fisk Firenze Mc Lean, Inc. of Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, in the sum of One Hundred Forty-four Thousand Seven <br /> <br />Hundred Thirty-six and 30/100 Dollars ($144,736.30), computed in <br /> <br />accordance with bidder's proposal dated November 13, 1990, for <br /> <br />the contract for Rough Grading and Surface Improvements at the <br /> <br />Police Facility Site, is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest bid for said work. <br /> <br />2.
