<br />'OCT 1 5 1990 <br /> <br />R I ~ Q L ~ I 1 Q N. <br /> <br />11430 <br /> <br />ORIG 'f,' f1 <br />, 1111. ..... <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH <br /> <br />TARGET EDUCATION AND WELFARE COUNCIL, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. is presently engaged <br /> <br />in the operation of a Handiperson Program and desires to conduct a handiperson <br /> <br />program for residents of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance in order to conduct such a program for residents of the <br /> <br />City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1990, and ending June 30, 1991; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires <br /> <br />to allocate to Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. the sum of Twenty <br /> <br />Three Thousand Seven Hundred and Six and No/lOa Dollars ($23,706.00) from its <br />Community Development Block Grant funds; and <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Target Education Welfare Council, <br /> <br />Inc., and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 10/10/90), by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Target Education Welfare Council, Inc., a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference <br /> <br />is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
