<br />JeT 1 5 1990 <br />1142 4 ORIGINAL <br />R I ~ Q 1 ~ I 1 Q N. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH <br /> <br />CHILD CARE COORDINATING COUNCIL OF SAN MATEO COUNTY FOR <br /> <br />FAMILY DAY CARE DEVELOPMENT AND ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County is presently <br /> <br />engaged in the operat i on of a Family Day Care Development and Enhancement <br /> <br />Program and desires to conduct a child care expansion program for residents of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance in order to conduct such a program for residents of the <br /> <br />City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1990, and ending June 30, 1991; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires <br /> <br />to allocate to Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County the sum of <br /> <br />Eighteen Thousand and No/lOa Dollars ($18,000.00) from its Community Development <br /> <br />Block Grant funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Child Care Coordinating Council <br /> <br />of San Mateo County and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve <br /> <br />the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 10/10/90), by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County, a copy of <br /> <br />which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and <br /> <br />the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and <br /> <br />on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
