<br />DES:djk '0/03/90 <br /> <br />(024/28) <br /> <br />OQU'\~":'I! <br />nh.:.;: ~ra. <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 11 40 1 <br /> <br />OCT ,8 1990 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING INVESTMENT POLICY AND <br />GUIDELINES FOR THE INVESTMENT OF CITY FUNDS AND <br />RESCINDING ALL PRIOR SUCH POLICIES AND GUIDELINES <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain Policy and Guidelines established for the <br /> <br />investment <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />public <br /> <br />monies <br /> <br />not <br /> <br />required <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />immediate <br /> <br />expendi ture as set forth in that document entitled "Investment <br /> <br />Policy and Guidelines - Amended: September 26, 1990", marked <br /> <br />Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br /> <br />herein, is hereby approved and adopted, and the Finance Director <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City, as City Treasurer, is hereby <br /> <br />authorized and directed, pursuant to the provisions of Section 34 <br /> <br />of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, to invest such public <br /> <br />monies of the City as are not required for immediate expenditure <br /> <br />in accordance with said Policy and Guidelines. <br /> <br />2. Any and all policies and guidelines for the investment <br /> <br />of City funds in conflict with the policy and guidelines <br /> <br />approved and adopted hereby are hereby rescinded. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
