0RI GINAL 7/24/00 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13952 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM MATERIALS; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the purchase of sanitary sewer system materials for system repair and <br />maintenance for the Public Works Services Department of the City of Redwood <br />City; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication two bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Weco Industries, Inc. of Vallejo, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br />bid of Weco Industries, Inc.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Weco Industries, Inc., in the total amount of Thirty -seven <br />Thousand One Hundred Thirty and 67/100 Dollars ($37,130.67), computed in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated June 19, 2000 for the purchase of <br />sanitary sewer system materials, which bid is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />Reso•940 1 <br />DES:djk <br />F: /Shared /Shared/Redwood /Council <br />07/11/00 <br />
