<br />DES:djk nS/22/90 (008/28) <br /> <br />OD!/'ll ~; III <br />n!u I\FI'- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 11 387 <br /> <br />AU6 27 $U <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR STREET OVERLAY 1989-91; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF BID SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11350 adopted by this <br /> <br />Council on July 23, 1990, the City Clerk advertised for bids for <br /> <br />the Street Overlay Project 1989-91; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement for bids, seven bids <br /> <br />were received and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, O'Grady paving, Inc., Mountain View, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to O'Grady Paving, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of O'Grady Paving, <br /> <br />Inc. Mountain View, <br /> <br />California, in the sum of One Million Two Hundred Eighteen <br /> <br />Thousand Seventy and 80/100 Dollars ($1,218,070.80), computed in <br /> <br />accordance with bidder's proposal dated August 21, 1990, for the <br /> <br />contract for Street Overlay Project 1989-91, is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest bid for said work. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement <br /> <br />Street <br /> <br />Overlay Project 1989-91" (form dated 08/22/90) by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> <br />California and O'Grady Paving, Inc., a copy of which agreement is <br /> <br />on file in the Office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference <br /> <br />is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />
