<br />DES:djy 07/24/90 <br /> <br />(#20) <br /> <br />("';,..,.,,': <br />~ f \ . ~ ":' <br />J \ ~ fI.__," ; l. <br /> <br />AUG 1 3 }~~U <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 1. 8 rl1. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />ASPHALT CONCRETE FOR 1990-91 FISCAL YEAR; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br />OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11318, adopted June 11, <br /> <br />1990, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of <br /> <br />asphalt concrete for 1990-91 Fiscal Year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said materials; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Granite Rock Company, Redwood City, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />materials, and it is the intention of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to Granite Rock Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Granite Rock Company, in the amount of One <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Thirty-five <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />six <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />30/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($135,006.30), more or less, for the furnishing of asphalt <br /> <br />concrete for 1990-91 Fiscal Year in accordance with the bidder's <br /> <br />proposal, dated July 5, 1990, and in accordance with the <br /> <br />specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />materials. <br />
