07/15/02 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14454 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR <br />THE 2001 -2002 BIKE PATH IMPROVEMENT PROJECT; AND <br />AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />WHEREAS, contract documents for the 2001 -2002 Bike Path <br />Improvement Project - Redwood City, California, have been presented to and <br />reviewed by the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has approved the plans and <br />specifications for this project and has authorized expenditures of the Federal <br />TEA grant funds for this project; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to signify its approval of the contract <br />documents for the project and authorize the City Clerk to advertise for bids for <br />the work therein described. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Those certain documents entitled "Contract Documents for the 2001- <br />2002 Bike Path Improvement Project - City of Redwood City, California, <br />prepared by the Department of Community Development Services /Engineering <br />and Construction, a copy of which documents are on file in the office the of the <br />Manager, Engineering and Construction, are hereby approved. <br />2.
