<br />OfllCd <br />r{l .'. i <br /> <br />11366 <br /> <br />-AUG 1 3 199U <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO TO ADMINISTER <br />THE CALIFORNIA NATURAL DISASTER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM IN <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has established the <br /> <br />California Natural Disaster Assistance Program ("CALDAP") to <br /> <br />assist victims of the October 17, 1989 earthquake; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, under said program persons whose property suffered <br /> <br />damage as a result of said earthquake are eligible for low <br /> <br />interest, deferred loans for property rehabilitation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo has been recognized by the <br /> <br />State of California as the administrator of CALDAP in said <br /> <br />County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to facilitate access to CALDAP <br /> <br />for residents of the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to, and reviewed by this <br /> <br />Council an agreement between the County of San Mateo and this <br /> <br />Ci ty providing for the administration of CALDAP in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE ; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />That <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement <br /> <br />For <br /> <br />California Disaster Assistance Program Between the County of San <br /> <br />Ma teo and the City of Redwood Ci ty" , providing for the <br /> <br />administration by the County of San Mateo of the California <br />
