U35g <br /> <br />O'-I'"\~''' 1\ L <br />~ "'~ ~ i,! ~, t \l f--'~ <br />;;. \. i '~,..'i t I . 4 \ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF TWO (2) <br />POLICE MOTORCYCLES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br /> <br />solicited for the purchase of two (2) police motorcycles; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation two bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Diablo Kawasaki and BMW Company of Walnut Creek, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to accept the bid of said <br /> <br />Diablo Kawasaki and BMW Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Diablo Kawasaki and BMW Company of Walnut <br /> <br />Creek, California, for the sale of two (2) police motorcycles to <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City in the amount of Eleven Thousand Eight <br /> <br />Hundred Sixty-six and No/100 Dollars ($11,866.00) in accordance <br /> <br />with said bidder's proposal dated June 20, 1990, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder in response to solicitation for bids without <br /> <br />advertisement for said equipment. <br /> <br />2. Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br /> <br />Diablo Kawasaki and BMW Company is, and each of them hereby are, <br /> <br />waived. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute such purchase orders or other purchase documents (in form <br /> <br />approved by the City Attorney) to effectuate the purchase <br /> <br />approved hereby <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
