<br />DES:djk '/18/90 (071/26) <br /> <br />JUL 2 3 1990 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~Q.~ <br /> <br />U"'! f" In Ii <br />dI,.:nrJAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR PREPARATION OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL <br />ASSESSMENT RELATING TO BLOMQUIST STREET EXTENSION <br /> <br />(WESTERN ECOLOGICAL SERVICES COMPANY, INC.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires the preparation <br /> <br />of an environmental assessment relating to proposed public <br /> <br />improvements for certain street realignments and the extension of <br /> <br />Blomquist Street in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Western Ecological Services Company, Inc. ("WESCO") <br /> <br />represents that it is experienced in performing, and uniquely <br /> <br />qualified to perform expert consulting services for such <br /> <br />purposes; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty , a municipal corporation of the State of California, and <br /> <br />Western Ecological Services Company, Inc. entitled "Agreement for <br /> <br />Preparation <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Environmental Assessment <br /> <br />(Blomquist <br /> <br />Street <br /> <br />Extension)" (form dated 07/18/90) providing for the preparation <br /> <br />of an environmental assessment as therein described, a copy of <br /> <br />which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
