"3'1'1 <br /> <br />JUL 2 3 l~~U <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHOHIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND TIlE <br />REDWOOD CITY - SAN MATEO COUNTY CHAMBEH OF COMMEHCE, <br />RELATING TO THE GENERAL DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION OF <br />LOCAL INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY FOR FISCAL YEAR 1990-91 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ("City") has been requested <br /> <br />by the Redwood City - San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce ("Chamber") <br /> <br />to provide monies during the fiscal year July 1, 1990 - June 30, 1991, for <br /> <br />the maintenance and improvement of the economy of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City by the general development and promotion of local industry and <br /> <br />commerce in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of the Council to authorize <br /> <br />the execution of an agreement by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />and the Redwood City - San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce providing <br /> <br />for a payment of Thirty Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($30,000.00) to the <br /> <br />Redwood City - San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce by the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City for such above stated purposes for the fiscal year July 1, 1990 - <br /> <br />June 30, 1D91; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to and reviewed by this Council <br /> <br />for approval of funding agreement between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />and the Redwood City - San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce for the <br /> <br />fiscal year July 1, 1990 - June 30, 1991, and it is the intention of this <br /> <br />Council to approve same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />
