<br />,""#",, 'lL <br />I. . ~ ' \ ~ '-,' ~ J _ <br />:.._i' -~_; ~:~: ~- ~ 'o~ r~ l <br /> <br />JUL 2 3 1990 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />1/3 tJ B <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AHO AUTliORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />WITH PENINSULA CONFLICT RESOLUTION CENTER, INC., FOR IMPROVING <br />NEIGHBORHOOD AND COt+lUN ITY COt+lUN ICATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center, Inc., a non-profit <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California, hereinafter known as "Contractor", <br /> <br />is presently engaged in the operation of a community boards program whose <br /> <br />purpose is improving neighborhood and community communication, in <br /> <br />furtherance of the public order, health and welfare in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has represented to City that it is qualified <br /> <br />and experienced to perform said services; and <br /> <br />WIiEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Peninsula Conflict <br /> <br />Resolution Center, Inc., wherein the City shall provide Twenty-Two <br /> <br />Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($22,000.00) during the fiscal year from <br /> <br />July I, 1990 through June 30, 1991, and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 7/24/90), by and between the <br />City of Redwood City and Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center, Inc., a <br /> <br />California non-profit corporation, a copy of which agreement is on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby <br /> <br />made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
