<br />DES:djk 0~/26/90 (057/26) <br /> <br />JUL - 9 1990 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N Q.11 342 <br /> <br />On 1 f; ,~ ?'.~ ! <br />f\ 1\..:, I l \, ;,_ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR BROCHURE PRINTING AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS IN <br />CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk has caused to be published a public <br /> <br />notice inviting bids for brochure printing in a newspaper of <br /> <br />general circulation within the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said notice, three (3) bid were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Independent Publications, Inc., San Jose, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsive bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of said <br /> <br />company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Independent Publications, Inc., San Jose, <br /> <br />California for brochure printing at a total bid price not to <br /> <br />exceed Twenty-five Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($25,000.00) <br /> <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated May 24, <br /> <br />1990, is hereby accepted; said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsive bidder for said brochure <br /> <br />printing. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute such purchase orders or other appropriate purchase <br /> <br />documents (in the form approved by the City Attorney) on behalf <br />
