R E S 0 L U T I 0 N N 0. 429'd' <br />RESOLUTION FIXING MINIMUM WAGE SCALE <br />ORCHARD AVENUE-BURNHAM OAKS <br />IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS the City Engineer of Redwood City has ascertained the <br />general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which <br />said public work is proposed to be performed for work of a similar <br />character to that described in Resolution of Intention No. 9 , <br />adopted May 25, 1964, by the Council of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and contained <br />in the specifications for said project, copies of which are on file <br />in the office of said Engineer and also in the office of the Clerk <br />of said City; and <br />WHEREAS the Council of Redwood City has duly considered said <br />scale and finds the same to be correct in all particulars; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of Redwood City resolves as <br />follows: <br />1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications <br />for the above mentioned project is hereby adopted as the prevail- <br />ing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character to that <br />above described in the locality in which said public work is pro- <br />posed to be performed. <br />2. That no less than said general prevailing rate of per <br />diem wages shall be paid for any work proposed to be performed <br />under said Resolution of Intention No. 2q <br />
