REG:yc:5/4/64-7 <br />RE S O LUT I ON N O. 4276 <br />RESOLUTION WITHDRAWING ANNEXED TERRITORY <br />KNOWN AS "HILLCREST ANNEXATION NO. 1" <br />FROM EMERALD LAKE LIGHTING DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the hereinafter described territory known as <br />'"Hillcrest Annexation No. 1" was annexed to the City of Redwood <br />City by Resolution No, // 42 9�1, said annexation being effective <br />on May 4, 1964; and <br />WHEREAS, said area is included in the Emerald Lake Lighting <br />District; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 19290 of the <br />Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the here- <br />inafter described property known as "Hillcrest Annexation No. 1" <br />is hereby declared withdrawn from the Emerald Lake Lighting <br />District. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward certified <br />copies of this resolution to the State Board of Equalization, <br />the San Mateo County Assessor and the Emerald Lake Lighting <br />District. <br />3. The withdrawal of the following described territory <br />from the above mentioned district shall be effective on the <br />date of adoption of this resolution. <br />5. The property withdrawn is described as follows: <br />A portion of Lot 1, Block 24, a portion of Hillcrest <br />Drive, and a portion of Upland Road as said lot, <br />block and streets are designated on that map en- <br />titled "Oak Knoll Manor," recorded May 10, 1916, <br />in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County, <br />California, in Book 10 of Maps at pages 4 to 11, <br />inclusive, being more particularly described as <br />follows: <br />
