RESOLUTION NO. 8287 MSR:yc:5/17/79 ORIGINAL MAY 21 1979 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABANDON PORTION OF PUBLIC STREET (TWIN DOLPHIN PARKWAY) AND PUBLIC UTILITY (STORM DRAIN) EASEMENTS ADJACENT THERETO, IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE, AND PART 1, DIVISION 1, TITLE 5 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, RESPECTIVELY; SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED ABANDONMENT; AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED ABANDONMENT WHEREAS, a portion of property designated as "Twin Dolphin Parkway" in the City of Redwood City, heretofore dedicated as a public street, and certain hereinafter described public utility (storm drain) easements adjacent thereto, are not needed for present or prospective street or other municipal purposes, respectively; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to abandon said portion of Twin Dolphin Parkway and said easements pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code and Part 1, Division 1, Title 5 of the Government Code, respectively; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. This Council hereby declares its intention to abandon a portion of Twin Dolphin Parkway and to abandon certain public utility (storm drain) easements as hereinafter respectively described, and elects to proceed with such abandonments pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code and Part 1, Division 1, Title 5 of the Government Code, respectively. 2. The portion of Twin Dolphin Parkway and those certain public utility (storm drain) easements to be abandoned are as indicated on the plat on file in the office of the City Clerk, entitled "Map of Proposed Abandonment Twin Dolphin Parkway & Storm Drainage Easements - Marina Park," and are more particularly described as follows: MAY 21 1979
