MSR:dp:5/14/79 R E S O L U T I O N N 0.8284 GRiGi dAL RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR RESURFACING MAY 211979 OF DESIGNATED STREETS; AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR WHEREAS, special provisions have been prepared by the Department of Public Works for the resurfacing of Fairview Avenue, from Virginia Avenue to Roosevelt Avenue; Oak Avenue, from Virginia Avenue to Fairview Avenue; Redwood Avenue, from Virginia Avenue to Hudson Street; Rose Avenue, from Bay Road to Page Street; Inner Circle, from Southgate to House No. 230; Topaz Street, from Brewster Avenue to Harding Avenue; Topaz Street, from Harding Avenue to Jefferson Avenue; Hopkins Avenue, from County Line to Alameda; Whipple Avenue, from 100 Block of Circle Road to Alameda; Myrtle Street, from Katherine Avenue to Hopkins Avenue; Lowell Street, from James Avenue to Hopkins Avenue; and Southgate, from Brewster Avenue to Inner Circle; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City desires to approve the said special provisions and authorize and direct the City Clerk to call for bids for the resurfacing of the above mentioned streets; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That those certain special provisions entitled "Special Provisions for the construction of Redwood City's Resurfacing Project - 1978-79, Redwood City, California" (including the plans and standard specifications referenced therein), a copy of which is presently on file in the office of the Department of Public Works, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to call for bids for the above mentioned resurfacing program.
