CGM:jp 5/31/78 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8292 ORIGINAL,JUN 4 1979 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />SITE PREPARATION FOR AREAS A-3 AND A-2 IN THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY; AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL <br />FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council, acting <br />through and by means of powers exercisable by Redwood City General <br />Improvement District No. 1-64, certain plans and specifications <br />for site preparation for Areas A-3 and A-2 in the City of Redwood <br />City; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve said plans and <br />specifications and to authorize the City Clerk to call for <br />bids for the construction of said improvements; <br />NOW THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Those certain plans, for and on behalf of Redwood City <br />General Improvement District No. 1-64, entitled "Redwood City <br />General Improvement District No. 1-64 - Redwood City, California - <br />Construction Drawings for Site Preparation - Area A-3 - Con- <br />struction Dikes - Areas A-3 and A-2 - Excavation of Portion of <br />Inlet Channel," those certain specifications entitled "Contract <br />Documents for Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64," <br />and those certain specifications entitled "Technical Specifica- <br />tions for Site Preparation Area A-3 - Construction of Dikes - <br />Areas A-3 and A-2 Excavation of Portion of Inlet Channel," <br />prepared in the office of the Department of Public Works are <br />hereby approved. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />advertise for bids for the construction of the above mentioned <br />improvements, in accordance with the plans and specifications <br />therefor, said advertisements to be in the form of that certain <br />"Notice to Contractors" set forth in the above mentioned <br />specifications. <br />8292 <br />
