R E S O L U T I O N <br />N0.8295 <br />MSR:jp 6/8/79 <br />ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION ABANDONING PORTION OF PUBLIC STREET JUN 18 1979 <br />(TWIN DOLPHIN PARKWAY) AND PUBLIC UTILITY (STORM <br />DRAIN) EASEMENTS ADJACENT THERETO, IN ACCORDANCE <br />WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS <br />CODE AND PART 1, DIVISION 1, TITLE 5, GOVERNMENT <br />CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, RESPECTIVELY <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of <br />Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code and Part 1, <br />Division 1, Title 5 of the Government Code, the Council of <br />the City of Redwood City by its Resolution No. 8287, adopted <br />May 21, 1979, declared its intention to vacate the hereinafter <br />described portion of property designated as "Twin Dolphin <br />Parkway" in the City of Redwood City, and certain hereinafter <br />described public utility (storm drain) easements adjacent <br />thereto; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and <br />Highways Code and Government Code, notice of intention to <br />vacate and abandon the above mentioned street and public <br />utility (storm drain) easements has been published and posted; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that <br />the hereinafter respectively described portion of Twin Dolphin <br />Parkway and certain public utility (storm drain) easements are <br />unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes and <br />hereby orders said portion of Twin Dolphin Parkway and certain <br />public utility (storm drain) easements vacated. <br />2.
