DES:yc:6/13/79 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8298 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SOILS ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES <br />(GID 1-64) <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUN 18 1979 <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64 <br />("District") has commenced a program of public improvement construction <br />projects within District's boundaries; and <br />WHEREAS, District requires for such projects, and may require <br />for potential future construction programs, professional soils <br />engineering services; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council <br />providing for the furnishing of such services on a continuing basis <br />using a task order procedure for specific projects; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve and authorize <br />exeuction of said agreement for and on behalf of District; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />ACTING FOR AND ON BEHALF OF REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT <br />DISTRICT NO. 1-64, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Soils Engineering" <br />(form dated 6/13/79), by and between Redwood City General Improve- <br />ment District No. 1-64, a general improvement district established <br />pursuant to Ordinance No. 1128 of the City of Redwood City, as <br />amended, and Carl W. Garbe, consulting engineer, for the furnishing <br />of expert soils engineering services, a copy of which agreement is <br />on file with the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br />for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for <br />and on behalf of said District. <br />
