R E S O L U T I O N <br />NO. 8 27 8 <br />CGM:yc:5/2/79 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION <br />TO THE PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION FOR A REIMBURSEMENT <br />FOR CITY FUNDS EXPENDED IN CONNECTION WITH THE <br />RELOCATION OF THE BROADWAY CROSSING (E-25.4) <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAY 7 1979 <br />WHEREAS, this City has expended considerably more funds than <br />originally anticipated for the relocation of the Broadway crossing <br />(E-25.4); and <br />WHEREAS, the safety protection at the Broadway crossing <br />(E-25.4) in Redwood City has been upgraded in connection with <br />such relocation from a #9 (flashing lights with gate) to #9-A <br />(flashing lights with gates and cantilever overhead lights); and <br />WHEREAS, this Council approves a request for reimbursement <br />and authorizes its submittal to the Public Utilities Commission; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />That the request is hereby approved and the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to execute such request in a form approved by the <br />City Attorney. <br />8`x78 <br />
