MINUTE ORDER <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL / SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING <br />June 11. 2018 <br />MO. 18-092 <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br />Date: June 12, 2018 <br />Attention: City Attorney <br />Community Development Director <br />"hard copy available upon request" <br />SUBJECT: Award of Contract - 2017-2018 Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project <br />AGENDA ITEM: 6.1C (304) <br />Meeting of the Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing Authority <br />Meeting on June 11, 2018. <br />Present: Council Members, Aguirre, Borgens, Gee, Masur, Seybert, Vice Mayor Howard, and <br />Mayor Bain <br />M/S Seybert/Aguirre to approve the Consent Calendar, excluding item 6.1.1-1. <br />By motion, to approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract documents <br />and award the standard form construction contract 00520 for the 2017-2018 Sanitary Sewer <br />Replacement Project to the lowest responsible bidder, Casey Construction Inc. of Emerald <br />Hills, California, and waive any irregularities, for their low bid of $4,488,680; and, authorize <br />the City Manager to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% of the original <br />contract amount, not to exceed $4,937,548; and confirm determination that the project is <br />exempt and meets California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) exemption criteria as set <br />forth in Section 15302 (Replacement or Reconstruction) of the CEQA Regulations. <br />Motion carried unanimously by electronic vote. <br />401-OIZ U <br />Pamela Aguilar, CMC <br />City Clerk <br />
