06/25/2018 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15688 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING THE BUDGET OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY FOR FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2018 - JUNE 30, 2019 <br />AND PROVIDING FOR THE APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE OF <br />ALL SUMS SET FORTH IN SAID BUDGET <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Charter of the City of Redwood City, the <br />City Manager has submitted to the Council of Redwood City a proposed annual <br />budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the Charter, after duly noticed public hearing, the <br />Council has approved the budget and it has been certified as the Budget of the City <br />for Fiscal Year 2018-19; and <br />WHERAS, it is the intention of the Council of Redwood City to adopt the <br />certified copy of the Budget presently on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Adoption of Budget. The Budget for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2018 <br />- June 30, 2019, approved by the Council and certified by the City Clerk and City <br />Manager, presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, is adopted. The Budget is <br />contained in the document entitled "Recommended Budget FY 2018-19." <br />SECTION 2. Appropriations. The amounts designated for subprograms in the <br />Budget document's "Operating Programs" section are appropriated to each designated <br />subprogram and the amounts designated for capital projects listed in the Budget <br />document's "Capital Improvement Program" section, with the exception of eliminating <br />funding for the "Body Worn Cameras" Project of $479,100, are appropriated. The <br />amounts designated for the debt service payments listed in the document's "City Debt" <br />section and payments listed for assessment districts debt listed in the document's <br />"Fiduciary Funds" section are appropriated (except those for the Successor Agency's <br />debt which will be adopted and appropriated by a separate action of the Successor <br />Agency). The Beginning Balance in the Budget document's "Analysis of Budget by <br />Fund" in the Budget document's "Financial Summaries" are appropriated. The <br />Revenue Estimates for 2018-19 in the "Consolidated Revenue Schedule" in the Budget <br />document's "Financial Summaries" section, with the exception of a decrease of <br />$293,833 in Gas Tax Revenues, including those for the Redwood City Public <br />Financing Authority and assessment and improvement districts but excepting those for <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />ATTY/RESO.0060/13UDGET ADOPTION FY 18-19 RESO.
