STATE and CITY, pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section 130, are authorized <br /> to enter into a Cooperative Agreement for IMPROVEMENT to State highways within <br /> Redwood City. <br /> <br />2. STATE contemplates constructing improvements on State Highway 101 from Marsh <br /> Road Interchange {KP 5.8) to Ralston Avenue Interchange (KP 9.6) in Redwood City and <br /> the City of San Carlos in San Mateo County, referred to herein as ~PROJECT-' <br /> <br /> 3. The PROJECT includes auxiliary lanes on each side of Route 101, from the Marsh Road <br /> Interchange (KP 5.8) to Ralston Avenue Interchange (KP 9.6), and a class-one bicycle <br /> path, referred to herein as 'PATH.~ <br /> <br /> 4. CITY desires to place a 24-inch Reclaimed Water Line. hereinafter referred to as <br /> "IMPROVEMENT~, which the CITY is proposing to place within the PATH. <br /> <br /> 5. CITY shall provide the complete design, estimate, and construction design support of <br /> IMPROVEMENT. <br /> <br /> 6. The parties hereto intend to define herein the terms and conditions under which <br /> IMPROVEMENT is to be constructed, financed, and maintained. <br /> <br /> <br />
