<br />12/05/2005 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1130-335 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AMENDING ARTICLE 60, ZONING MAP NO.8 OF ORDINANCE <br />NO. 1130, OF THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, AS <br />AMENDED, TO REZONE PROPERTIES GENERALLY LOCATED AT <br />WOODSIDE ROAD, HESS ROAD AND LUCERNE AVENUE, AS <br />FURTHER DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE, FROM THE GENERAL <br />COMMERCIAL ("CG") DISTRICT OR THE MULTI-FAMILY MEDIUM <br />DENSITY ("R-4") DISTRICT TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL- <br />RESIDENTIAL("CG-R") DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on September 20, 2005, the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City recommended to the City Council the <br />rezoning of the hereinafter described properties from their respective zonings of <br />General Commercial ("CG") District or Multi-Family Medium Density ("R-4") District, all <br />of which to be rezoned to General Commercial-Residential ("CG-R") District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council having reviewed the recommendation of the Planning <br />Commission and having considered the evidence received at the public hearing duly <br />noticed and held for said proposed rezonings, finds that the proposed rezonings are in <br />the public interest and consistent with the purposes of the Redwood City Zoning <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby <br />incorporated herein by reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Article 41 of the Redwood City Zoning <br />Ordinance (Ordinance No. 1130, as amended), Article 60, Map No.8, of the Redwood <br />City Zoning Ordinance, as amended, is hereby amended as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />That certain real property located at 492 Woodside Road, Redwood City, <br />California (Assessor's Parcel No. 053-293-360) as shown on the attached Exhibit <br />II A" , which is incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby rezoned from <br />General Commercial ("CG") to the General Commercial-Residential ("CG-R") <br />District. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />That certain real property located at 502 Woodside Road, Redwood City, <br />California (Assessor's Parcel No. 053-293-130) as shown on the attached Exhibit <br />"A", which is incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby rezoned from Multi- <br /> <br />Atty/Ord.250 <br />110805 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />1130-335 <br />Muff # 602 <br />
